The Northamptonshire Music Awards returned for the third time to honour musicians, venues and others involved in the county’s music scene.

Hosted by Kerrie Cosh from BBC Introducing, there were 18 awards which were handed out as well as a presentation for the Outstanding Contribution To Local Music.

Singer songwriter Maddox Jones performed at the start of the ceremony.
The first award of the night, Young Arist Of The Year, was presented to Evan Fallon.
Fountain, who have been on tour across the UK, were among the acts performing live at the opening of the second half of the the ceremony.
Silky Wilford was presented the ward for best Blues / Soul / Jazz Artist Of The Year.
Maddox Jones won Music Video of The Year for his video to England Together.
Specialist Music Show or Podcast of The Year was won by The Weekend Warm Up with Sharon Louise from Beat Route Radio.
Former Phantom Isle frontman Peter Marchant received the award for Pop Artist Of The Year.
Lil Brxke on Rap / Grime / Drill / Hip Hop Artist of The Year and was presented the award by Leon Denton from Lay It Down.
Song Of The Year was won by Kettering act Last Chance for their track We Are Who We Are.
Rhythm & Posey received the award for Live Event or Initiative Of The Year.
Producer Of The Year was won by Dave Crawford who was unable to attend the ceremony. Collaborator Maddox Jones collected the award on his behalf.
New Harmony won Conver Artist Of The Year.
Northants Sings Out won Community Choir Of The Year.
The Outstanding Contribution To Local Music Award was presented to Northants Sings Out choir founder Gareth Fuller.
Rock duo Fountain won Indie / Rock / Alternative / Metal Artist Of The Year.
Freya Rose won the award for Album / EP / Mixtape Of The Year award for her debut album Girlhood.

Eden Lole took to the stage to perform at the start of the end of the first half of the awards ceremony.
Great Adamz won R&B / Afrobeats / Dancehall / Reggae Artist Of The Year, days after the release of his debut album Blessed Boy.

Kings Gambit received the award for Acoustic / Country / Folk Artist Of The Year.
