The Horrors – The Crossing, Birmingham

The Horrors’ latest album, Night Life, is probably going to be my album of the year.

Having seen them at the end of 2024 over at Esquires in Bedford ahead of the record’s release, it was great to see them again and hear a bit more new material.

There’s been a run of gigs with no front facing light recently. However, you’d expect nothing less from the band.

This is the first Horrors album and run of live dates where the line-up has differed significantly from the bulk of their earlier work.

However, this seems to have done the band wonders and they sound as good as they ever have done.

First time at The Crossing. Reminded my a lot of (long since gone venue) The Pitz in Milton Keynes.

Photos from The Horrors playing in Bedford are available on this site here.
