Lawrence Jones – The Black Prince, Northampton

Blues rock guitarist Lawrence Jones returned to Northampton to headline The Black Prince to play his final ‘band’ show.

Jones’ latest album Bad Luck & The Blues topped the official Jazz & Blues Albums Chart when it was released in 2023.

This was Jones’ final band show before continuing as a solo artist next year due to complications around living with Crohn’s disease.

Jones has previously shared stages with the likes of Van Morrison, Ringo Star and Jeff Beck, performed at the Royal Albert Hall and New York’s Carnegie Hall and won the Young Artist Of The Year award three times at the British Blues Awards.
