Jamie Benkert – The Picturedrome, Northampton

Singer-songwriter Jamie Benkert made a triumphant return to the stage to headline The Picturedrome in Northampton recently – his first headline show performing under his name since retiring his Lucien Moon moniker.

In recent months Benkert has become a regular face across social media platforms for the series of videos he’s filmed showcasing his hometown.

He’s become a bit of a regular face at some of Northampton’s best-known spots, championing independent businesses and some of the best things the town has to offer.

It’s seen Benkert rack up millions of views by people who maybe didn’t necessarily know much about his work as a singer-songwriter.

Benkert had been performing as Lucien Moon for number of years and appeared on The X-Factor in 2015, but decided to retire that stage name and concentrate on performing as himself.

A couple of hundred people packed into The Picturedrome to see Benkert perform a selection of solo material, some new material as well as some covers.

Joining Benkert was the band Opal and Evan Fallon. Was at this one working for Jamie, so there’s a lot of photos from the show below.
