Reggae Land has been taking place at The National Bowl for a few years now, but it was my first time there this summer.
I could only make the final day of the festival, which was headlined by Jamaican dancehall star Vybz Kartel.
I don’t think I necessarily underestimate things, but the scale of Reggae Land was huge, with music across I think seven stages and tens of thousands of inside to enjoy it.
It was probably one of the biggest crowds I’d seen at the venue since The Prodigy’s Warrior’s Dance festival in 2010.
It was obviously impossible to take in everything, so I spent most of my day flipping between the main and second stages – also popping into one of the nearby tents where I caught of a bit of Don Lett’s set during the day.
