Maddox Jones, The Black Prince, Northampton

Maddox Jones returned to The Black Prince on Saturday night for the venue’s first live outdoor gig since coronavirus restrictions were relaxed.

The singer songwriter had a busy 2020 establishing himself as a solo artist having previously performed in Born Stranger and The Departure. He released the EP Headspace last year and his latest single Can’t Wait For The Summer is out now.

It was great return for Jones who had headlined the Northampton venue last summer as one of the first acts to play a socially distanced outdoor gig.

He was joined by David Crawford on guitar and bassist Lewis Cardinal.
