Electronic pop singer-songwriter Au/Ra headed to the Hare & Hounds as part of her UK ahead of the release of her debut album. The musician is set to release heartcore in June and the musician played a host of tracks from the records at the Kings Heath venue. Au/Ra's music melds elements of ethereal pop, electronica, 8-bit hyperpop and alt rock and live, she was backed by live drums and guitar. It was a bit of an emotional return to Birmingham for Yungblud at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham. Pulp are back with their first new album in 24 years and headlined Birmingham's Utilita Arena. No support tonight, with Pulp playing two sets to an absolutely packed venue. Having headlined the venue's smaller room six months ago, Vamps frontman Bradley Simpson played a sold-out hometown gig at Birmingham's O2 Institute as part of his UK tour. Here's a few more photos of Paul Weller who headlined the Genting Arena in Birmingham on Friday night. The gig was rescheduled after the 'best from the east' caused the original date to be cancelled earlier in the year. Supporting Weller were Stone Foundation. Arcade Fire were back in Birmingham to headline the Genting Arena. Their latest album Everything Now may have received a few mixed reviews but live, they are still fantastic. Their Genting gig saw them playing in a 'boxing ring' style stage in the middle of the area with ropes surrounding the band for the first couple of songs.
