Circuit Break Festival – Northampton

The inaugural Circuit Break festival brought some of the best new alternative acts on the music scene to venues across Northampton.

The new multi-venue festival featured gigs at The Black Prince, The Picturedrome, V&B and The Lamplighter.

Dozens of bands headed to Northampton for the day – joined by some of the best acts from across the county.

It was great to see such a good turn-out for the event and – from a snapper’s perspective – it was a huge success and a festival I hope to see return in future years.

We’ve not had something like it in Northampton for a good few years and it’s one of those reminders that the town can stage events like it.

It was impossible to get around to everything and – while mostly being at The Black Prince – I managed to get out to The Picturedrome and Lamplighter too. Wish I’d been able to get around to more!

I’d managed to see Lemonsuckr relatively recently over at Esquires in Bedford and unsurprisingly, they were standouts from the day – but there were some other fantastic performances.
