Dry Cleaning, Sinead O’Brien – Esquires, Bedford

First gig of 2020 was Dry Cleaning at Bedford Esquires. The band, currently on the front cover of this month’s DIY Magazine, are out on tour with Sinead O’Brien.

Good turn out for it and good sets by both bands. Didn’t know anything by either until the night. Just another one of those ‘recommended by’ promoters The Pad Presents to get along to.

Dry Cleaning are fronted by Flo Shaw with a sound firmly in the indie-post-punky space. Their latest release is a 12″ combining their debut EPs Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks & Sweet Princess.
