Katy Perry – Utilita Arena, Birmingham

Sometimes, all you want is a big OTT area show – and Katy Perry’s Lifetimes tour delivers this and a whole lot more.

The US singer-songwriter was in town for a set packed full of her biggest hits and the entire gig was visual spectacle from start to finish.

The night began with Perry descending high from above the stage at the Utilita Arena in something you’re more likely to have seen in one of The Matrix Films and concluded with her flying above fans straddling a giant butterfly.
