Sam Battle – AKA Look Mum No Computer – brought his UK tour to The Black Prince in what was an amazing night of electronic madness.
Battle’s set was part structured, part improvised and part controlled chaos all held together by an amazing self-built set-up powered by a – among others parts – a load of Nintendo Game Boys.
Once Battle had finished his set, he gave fans the chance to get up on stage and have a go on the equipment themselves, to see how the plugins and patches all worked together. Not often at all you see something like this.
To be able to build the set up Look Mum No Computer has, make it all worked together and also craft some electronic pop around it takes some talent.

Great work by Sam to be picked as this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. I’ve added a few more photos of his gig in Northampton as a result for people to have a look at.
Funny seeing The Black Prince with the stage the ‘wrong’ end and looking in this state. Good work by everyone at the venue who has helped shape it into the venue it is today.
