Manic Street Preachers – Albert Hall, Manchester

Manic Street Preachers are out on tour, playing their 1994 masterpiece, The Holy Bible, in full. I got to photograph the first of two dates in Manchester this week.

Great gig, but it pretty much ticked all the boxes for frustrating live photography. A high stage flooded in smoke and red gloomy light, little to no front facing lights and obviously no flash. Got some nice atmospheric stuff. A couple of shots are below, another might make it into my main gallery of work.
