Galway trio NewDad returned in September with sophomore release Alter – their second album in as many years.

Picking up plaudits upon its release the band are currently out on a 10-date UK-tour following a series of record store shows to support their new LP’s release.

Led by singer and guitarist Julie Dawson, the band’s 15-song set was heavily weighted towards their new record. There were joined at XOYO in Birmingham by The Cardinals. A full review of the gig is available on Birmingham World – linked Below.
