That Joe Payne – The Black Prince, Northampton

That Joe Payne returned The Black Prince to play a headline gig with his eight piece band.

Payne was using the gig to preview a bit of a revamped sound, image and energy and played songs from across his career, with some tracks getting a bit of a facelift for the show.

Support at the Abington Square venue was by Stevie Ward and Mark Stevens (Canyons)
