Emypre

Can’t stop the (acoustic) rock. Northants rock duo Empyre and The Big Dirty became the latest NN bands to play on The Black Prince’s outdoor stage on Saturday night.

The gig was the latest of the venue’s Garden Music series taking place while it can’t use its main room due to the coronavrius restrictions.

The Big Dirty

Great turn out for the gig, with everyone nicely socially distanced.

It’s obviously awful to see the impact which Covid is having on the music and creative industries. Northampton is really lucky to have a venue like The Black Prince with such a big garden and outdoor stage. Good work by all involved in making these gigs happen.

Both Empyre and The Big Dirty’s debut albums, (Self Aware and The Sex) are out now.
