New York shoegaze quartet Glimmer headed to Abington Groove Records on the second date of their UK tour.
It was my first time at the Northampton record shop for a gig which was the second in its Groove Session series.
It’s a fantastic little intimate place for gigs and this was a great night.
The record shop – which opened probably about a year ago – was originally in a different building on the site but the move upstairs to a bigger room has worked wonders meaning they can also host gigs.
Supporting Glimmer were Narcolepsy and Canvas Tile. This was another great gig by Promoters Picky New who have solidified their place as one of Northampton’s best promoting teams.
