Supergrass – Roadmender, Northampton

Supergrass made their live return after seven months without a gig at the Roadmeder on Saturday night.

Really impressive set by the Oxford trio (whose line up was actually boosted to seven for certain songs which featured a brass trio and keyboard player). Literally felt like hit after hit after hit.

Supergrass played to a sold out Roadmender of 800-ish fans as a warm up ahead of a headline gig at the O2 Academy in Brixton the following Monday.

Support was by Matt McManamon. I’ll add some photos of him when I get a sec.

You can view more photos from gigs at the Roadmender on this site via this link.
