This Way To The…Big Special – Esquires, Bedford

Black Country duo Big Special returned to Bedford for their inaugural all-dayer which saw more than a dozen acts play across the venue’s two main stages,

Joining headliners Big Special on the Main Stage were Grandma’s House, Alien Chicks, Sounds Mint and KEZ. Downstairs in Room 2 were Enjoyable Listens, The Pill, Gans, Shortstraw, The Battery Farm and Tarmac.

In recent years, Esquires has put on some great all-dayers – primarily its Ceremony festival. At the end of the night, Big Special – who were introduced on stage by presenter Steve Lamacq, hinted their festival may also return next year.

This was a great day, the weather was glorious with a few hundred packed into the sold-out event.
