The Bedford Summer Sessions have become a mainstay of the town’s music scene for a few years now and Tom Grennan returned this month to play a home-town gig.
I was only able to get to the one show this year because of other work commitments.
However, Grennan joined other headliners Paul Weller, UB40 ft Ali Campbell and Deacon Blue at Bedford park for huge outdoor shows.
It was Grennan’s first time back at the venue since previously headlining in 2022 and in the years between, he’s continued to sell out arenas across the country.
Around 10,000 people packed into the park to see the Bedford native headline.
The singer-songwriter released his latest album ‘Everywhere I Went, Let Me to Where I Didn’t Want to Be’ last year and his set at Bedford was packed full of his biggest hits and tracks from the record.
Joining Grennan for the day was Brooke Combe, Fiona Lee and The Wholls.
I’ve photographed Grennan loads over the years. Mainly at Esquires in the town. More photos from those gigs are available on this site here.
